Reduced Sugar, Low Fat Filling
Every Taichung Sun Cake features delicate, multi-layered flaky pastry crafted with premium New Zealand butter. Beneath its golden, melt-in-the-mouth crust lies a smooth maltose filling with just the right sweetness. Reduced in sugar and lower in fat than traditional recipes, it is made with simple, carefully selected ingredients for a clean, balanced flavour that is never overly heavy.

Suitable for Lacto-Vegetarians
Unlike traditional Sun Cakes which are typically made with lard, Chen Yun Pao Chuan uses premium New Zealand butter instead, creating a richer buttery aroma and a finer, more delicate texture while making it suitable for lacto-vegetarians without compromising its authentic taste.
